This course will focus on business communication emphasizing strategies and content reflecting today’s business trends, technologies, and demands in the workplace. The basic contents are introduced to enhance understanding of key topics in business communication including human relation, human resource cultural approaches. The topics will focus on ways to improve a learner’s oral, written, listening, and non-verbal communication skills as well as to identify and minimize barriers within communication processes in organizations. In addition, technological, culture diversity, gender, and communication in customer relationship management will be covered to gain and improve one’s communication skills. Other discussions of time management, stress and emotional management skills, negotiation and work ethics/business ethics in workplace will be also addressed.
